Athletic Therapy

Athletic Therapists (AT) have a wide scope of practice that includes prevention, assessment, immediate emergency care, and reconditioning of musculoskeletal injuries (muscles, bones, and joints). We follow a Sport Medicine Model of Care, which means we treat patients using various manual therapies, modalities, exercise prescription, and bracing/taping. You may find us on the sideline of a sports game, in the clinic assessing an injury, or in the gym guiding patients through their rehabilitation exercise programs.

Along with our Certified Athletic Therapist designation [CAT(C)], AT are also First Responder Certified. This means we have the skill-set to respond to emergencies and provide urgent care, specializing in sport scenarios and equipment.
