Jeshrun Antwi



BEd & BA (2020)

Jeshrun went to high school at Father Lacombe in the South East of Calgary. He played HS football there and would go on to play for the University of Calgary Dinos Football Team. He was part of the 2019 Vanier Cup winning squad, the highest accolade a College football team in Canada can achieve. He recently graduated from the University of Calgary with a double major in Bachelor of Education and Bachelor of Arts.

Jeshrun was selected 48th overall in the 2019 CFL Draft by the Montreal Alouettes. He would attend training camp with them and elected to come back to the University of Calgary to complete his degree. He will join the team for 2021 season and hopes to compete for a roster spot.

Jeshrun has been influenced by individuals from all aspects of his life. Everyone including, principals, teachers, and coaches at all levels. He credits his coaching philosophy to Coach Wayne Harris, Coach Ryan Sheahan, and Coach David Swagar.  These individuals taught him the important of teamwork, work ethic, and most importantly discipline. These characteristics are the pillars that his coaching philosophy is built on, alongside the MOST’s principal.

Jeshrun has a passion for reading, learning, football, staying active, coaching a variety of sports, and the well-being of all people.
