Coach | Athletic Therapist

Heidi is from Summerland, B.C. where she grew up playing hockey and fastball as her two main sports. Since moving to the foothills, she has picked up snowboarding and sport climbing as two of her favorite outdoor activities. Most recently she has competed in several triathlons, progressing from a sprint race to a full Ironman in 2019.

Having worked as a group fitness coach, personal trainer, and strength & conditioning coach with varsity and club athletes, Heidi’s clientele is vast and varied. Through the observation of movement patterns and identification of imbalances, she is able to educate and empower clients on how to correct and control their movement. No matter the activity, Heidi is guided by the principle of “quality over quantity”.

Hockey has always been an athletic passion for Heidi; it’s where her journey started. Her understanding of the game gave her the confidence to start coaching young athletes on and off the ice. She spent 10 summers coaching with the Edge Hockey Camp in communities across BC and Alberta. This love for coaching led to an undergrad in Health & Physical Education with a major in Athletic Therapy. As part of her practicum experience, Heidi was fortunate to work with SAIT Trojans Varsity Athletics and the 2019 Vanier Cup Champions University of Calgary Dinos.

As a new clinician, she is eager to introduce manual skills into her coaching practice. The marriage of hands-on treatment and exercise rehabilitation is what drew her to MOST. It is an incredibly holistic environment which fosters ongoing learning from the top-down. Heidi is excited to be part of the team and develop her clinical practice to compliment her coaching.
