Most Prep is for the beginner Crossfit athlete.

We will teach you the basics to movement, and help prepare you for joining the basic class.

At MOST Physical Preparation our clinical mission is to combine our years of sport and academic experience with Calgary’s best manual orthopedic & sport therapies. Our movement first philosophy drives our fundamental treatments.  MOST Clinical provides a Movement First Approach to pain management, injury recovery, and lifestyle. Our practitioners provide, Osteopathy, ART, Graston, SFMS, Massage and more.

Our coaches specialize in corrective exercise and movement re-patterning. Intelligently incorporating corrective programming blended into performance programming in order to correct movement, assist in rehabilitation and assist in injury prevention.

Physical Preparation is the initial phase of athletic development , athletes work on general conditioning to improve strength, speed, endurance, flexibility, structure and skill. Being Physically prepared  helps prevent imbalances and boredom with both specific and non-specific exercises by conditioning the body to move properly.  As athlete’s develop their level of physical preparation can often be compromised with early or over sport specific training.Everyone needs a certain level of general physical preparedness in order to live a happy healthy life.   At MOST our philosophy consists primarily of general preparatory movements  and some specialized conditioning exercises to work all the major muscles and joints.  At MOST our programming is progressive, meets individuals needs and address’s basic physical preparedness all the way up to elite performance.

An integrative and holistic approach to creating lasting changes in the areas of nutrition, fitness and lifestyle factors such as sleep, mindset, ands stress management. This program focuses on building your personal owner’s manual in these areas to discover and practice what works best for you. We will help take the confusion and complication out of most nutritional advice and make a plan that is specific for your goals and lifestyle. Whether you are looking for body composition change, better consistency, or overall improvements in your life we will help you build habits slowly and support you on your way. By engaging in healthy behaviours in small daily doses these new habits will become a part of your life’s routine without much thought, just like brushing your teeth. This program is for all nutrition levels whether you are a newcomer or a seasoned vet who could use better consistency.

My favourite thing about David and the Most Physical Preparation staff is that their mentality is "There is always room to grow" , for you and them, nobody is perfect and we are all here to help each other get better. Over the past six months training with David I have noticed some serious gains, not just an increase in the weight I was lifting but also in my performance on the field. I am a collegiate football player and naturally when training for my sport we think about speed, power, and explosion, and in doing so in the weightroom we naturally pick up the persona of " Lift more..." But at MOST the coach's all say, " Form first, then load, then you can explode." With a focus on each repetition being  precisely how it was instructed, and focusing on how fast I move the weight. My strength and power gains became obvious. My numbers were going up at a steady rate, but also so was my musclar endurance. The balanced program was refreshing and helped me stay injury free. I am more aware of how to move the weights properly and with purpose. Outside of lifting far as body movements, muscle activation, and how the exercises translate to your sport or your everyday life is all included into your program or the workout given to you. No exercise in a workout is done just because, there is always a reason or explanation behind it. With patience and time the progress has been substantial. I am truly happy to be apart of the Most Physical Preparation family, and can say that I perform so well today thanks to David Swagar and athletes and coaches at MOST.
The coaches at MOST have helped me in so many ways.  They have taken a clumsy non athlete & taught me that I can be fit.  They have taught me how do exercises properly so you I would not hurt myself, and they have modified exercises to allow me to work within my abilities.  They created an environment where members support one another, I love the friends I have made.  The coaches are always there, ready to give advice and motivate you.
The youth and teen programming is spot on for developing young athletes to play all sports (my kids did Hockey, Lacrosse and Track) or just to help develop active lifestyle habits.
Having access to CrossFit, Olympic Lifting, Strength and Gymnastics (and more) classes means you access to everything you need to constantly improve and always stay engage in training.
